Why "skills & lessons" was vertical #6
Most task-marketplaces stay in tasks. We added music teachers, swim coaches, and language tutors. Here's the reasoning.
Swifli launched with the obvious home-services categories: cleaning, handyman, moving, pet & home care, errands. The sixth, skills & lessons, looks like an odd one out. It isn’t.
Same trust, different task
A swim coach for your kid or a piano teacher in your living room is exactly the kind of in-home, trust-sensitive booking Swifli is built for. The verification, the escrow, the building-by-building reach - none of it changes. We’re reusing the hard parts.
Frequency and relationship
Tasks are episodic; lessons recur. A weekly tutor turns a one-off marketplace into a standing relationship inside a building, which is exactly the kind of repeat behaviour that makes a community concierge platform last. Skills aren’t a detour from the idea; they’re the clearest expression of it.
